Our trip for the last two weeks.

South West Leg.

Pemberton to Nannup and into Busselton.

From Busselton we tripped around Cape Naturaliste, Margaret River and Yallingup.

Heading North

Busselton to Yangebup.

Fremantle - The Mussel Bar

There are several eateries along the waterfront.

The Memorial wall honouring the contributions to the Fishing Industry.

Catching up with Louise Allan and Daisy.
 Daisy- who? me?

A 30 minute boat trip to Rottnest Island. The locals call it Rotto.

The bikes are loaded on.We are set.

Our first Rotto local - The Quokka's.

They are all over the place.

Bikes only on the island, the only cars are driven by the workers.

At each bay, we find many buoys, for the boats who visit the island, there are loads of these.

The bike trip was a 22 kilometre round trip.
The kids are doing really well with the long bike rides.

 Osprey nest and the occupant.

AHHHHH, more Quokka's , they are invading!!!!!!

The Quokka's made it difficult to ride off.
After a big day of hassling the tourists  , a rest is needed.

Heading North again.

Yangebup to Perth
Perth to Jurien Bay.
28th & 29th May, 2011.

Jurien Bay to Geraldton
30th & 31st May.

A 500 Kilometre trek from Yangebup to Geraldton.

We hit the restaurant called Griil'd. The best Gourmet burgers I've tasted.
Yasi and Emma try the "Simon Says" chicken burger.

Jackson, Harry and karen enjoy there lunch.

A morning trek into the Pinnacles.

There are two theories that try to explain this unusual formation just out in the middle of a desert.
Both have "for's""against's"

Jackson & Harry decide to trek around the Pinnacles on their bikes.

 Jules has pole position again.
Cervantes has a lobster processing plant. We decide to try them out. Karen and Richard have a larger B grade lobster whilst the boys share a smaller A grade lobster.
They taste great.

The leaning trees coming into Geraldton. The wind was blowing the day we arrived. The trees are permanently in this position.

The fence is on the lean as well.
Our clean van !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By the way, there is a ban on using water to clean vans.

Point Moore Lighthouse, Geraldton. Where's Wally?????
The HMAS Sydney II Memorial. This was terrific to visit.

 One part of the Memorial.

The "waiting woman". or is it women.

Pirates of the Carribean in 3D. The glasses are pretty cool.

Still heading North.
