Port Lincoln (South Australia) to Esperance (Western Australia)

Smokey Bay Jetty. Many of the small towns have a long timber jetty. They are no longer used for commercial shipping and many have fallen into disrepair. The local community have rallied together to raise enough money to redo this one.

Tight lines on the Smokey Bay jetty.

Blue swimmer crab, under size.
 Heading for Fowler's Bay
Corrugations in the road make it an interesting trip for the van.
Fowler's Bay Jetty - fish for dinner perhaps!!
The sand dunes that are slowly engulfing the small township.

Our Fowler's Bay camp site. The grass grows ever so slowly.

Landforms like this are dotted along the coast.

The trip along the beach required the tyres to be let down a little.

The beach rod comes up with the goods.
Dinner is caught - 2 - 4-5Kg Salmon.

This bay is called the Mexican Hat due to its shape. The dark patches are massive schools of Salmon.

re-inflating the tyres after our beach trip.

The dunes are quite large, the photograph doesn't do their vastness any justice.

The dunes go on for many kilometres.

 Boogie boarding on the dunes.
