Cairns - Week 2.

Milaa Milaa Rainforest and the Tablelands
A day trip with Nan & Pop Tractor

Plenty of Sugarcane growing up here.

We head off in search of the shy Cassowary.

We head into the Milaa Milaa Rainforest walk.

 The Lloyd Boys.

 Epiphytes galore!!!!!!!!

Harry carries the bag for the day.

Nan & Pop Tractor.
Jackson & Harry named their grandparents after the red Masey Ferguson tractor they have at  farm home, it made it easier to identify which grandparents they were visiting.

"They are crazy thinking they can take on their dad"

Considering the wet season has been over for some time,
it's quite interesting to see the water still flowing.

The South Australian Connection and the Lloyds head for the reef.

Zac, Jackson, Lachlan, Sam and Harry prepare for their snorkel.

Nick and Kris enjoy the river ride.

James Bond !!!!!!!!

 Franklin Island.

Lunch was sensational.

Pancake Breakfast at the Coconut Resort - Take #2.

Lachlan and Zac take on the pancake.

 Nick and Kris tuck in.

Tammy and Callum, from Adelaide have never seen pancakes before
and are well and truly hooked on them.

Sam and Zac take on the red fire engine.

Farewell to the S.A crew.

After a sensational 11 days with our family and friends we push on
and head North to Newell Beach.

I would like to Thank Ben Hubert for keeping me up to date with the Figtree School building program Ben says the Library is finished and looks fantastic.
Ben, I hope you are still watching Top Gear and looking after your teacher, Mr Wheeler.
