Cable Beach has become a favourite daily trip and we have taken full advantage of the terrific winter weather that has been dished up. The tides up here are massive and vary between .5m to 10metres. Cable beach can be full of water in the morning and when you swim in the afternoon, you need to catch a bus to get out to the water (250 metres plus).
For PE this week, we have decided to complete a unit on surf safety with an emphasis on boogie board riding.
The Camel Sunset Ride was quite impressive.
Willie Creek Pearl Farm proved an interesting visit.
A pearl tour was another interesting activity. Oh to be a pearl technician, $80,000 for 3 months work and a $50 grand bonus if the pearls turn out to be Quality.

The Broome Races was on the cards for Saturday afternoon , the 6 race meeting was a terrific day out for the family.

4 adults and 5 kids smashed down 6 pizzas and 2 garlic breads. A terrific effort.

James Price Point, this is where the new gas works will hit the land, apparently the second largest plant in the world, the protesters are plenty and they have set up camp on the road out to this point. We thought we'd have a look for ourselves.

We head off to Cape Leveque on Tuesday for 3 days of tent camping. We have a thatched cover on the beach for our stay. We are really looking forward to this part of the trip.
